Credit for businesses that pay before they get paid
A USDC credit line for the days a supplier needs paying before your customer pays you.
The money exists. It just arrives late.
A profitable business has to pay a supplier today, but its own customer pays next week. Bank credit for that gap is slow to arrange and only moves in banking hours.
Fidus opens a short-term credit line in USDC. You lock SOL in a vault under your name, draw USDC for the payment, and repay when your customer pays. Your SOL can't move while you owe, and only you can take it back once the debt is zero. The program on Solana enforces both rules.
Today Fidus runs on Solana devnet only, with test USDC. Two businesses with the same owner have confirmed interest in a pilot loan. There are no loans yet.
One credit line, enforced on-chain
Your limit has two parts: a trust amount set after a business review, and the SOL you lock, counted at 50% of its value (example parameter). Draw USDC up to that limit at any hour, and repay to unlock your SOL.
Devnet only. Test USDC, no real money. Fidus is not a bank and has not lent to a real business yet. The business review is manual and the admin sets each trust limit by hand.

Profitable, but paid late
A business has to pay a supplier today. Its customer pays next week. The money exists; it just arrives late.
The gap banks don't fit
An overdraft or a bank loan for a few days is slow to arrange and only moves in banking hours. Fidus works at any hour and settles in seconds.
Your collateral stays yours
Your SOL sits in a vault under your name. It can't move while you owe, and only you can withdraw it once you repay. The program enforces that, not a promise.
A limit that grows with you
The plan for the pilot: repay on time and your trust limit grows. Today the program records each repayment on-chain and the admin adjusts the limit by hand.
